AIT Aquaculture has a unique curriculum that provides our students with an opportunity to study the topics of
their choice through tailor-made courses, training programs, study tours, and internships. AIT Aquaculture offers
post-graduate course, Certificate programs, Special Degree programs, and short courses and training programs on a wide range of topics.
The courses developed at AIT Aquaculture integrate cross sectoral and multidisciplinary themes in view of the regional needs for
inclusive development in aquaculture and fisheries management. New frontier areas of research like genetics and biotechnology;
aquatic disease diagnostics and health management; sustainable intensification of aquaculture; climate change impacts, adaptation
and mitigation in fisheries and aquaculture, etc. have been devised to support rational utilization and sustainable management of
aquatic resources in the Asian-Pacific region.
All the courses are designed with a good blend of theory and practicum that enables the students to understand field level realities
and apply this experience to real-world scenarios by working closely with the industry.
