Undergraduate Indian Students from Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU) attended the Aquaculture Internship Program from 1 July- 30 September 2019.
Undergraduate Indian Students from Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU) attended the Aquaculture Internship Program from 1 July- 30 September 2019. The students had a hands-on experience on spirulina culture, harvesting, measuring optical density, media preparation. Also, the interns had practical experience about monosex tilapia seed production in AARM hatchery, where they learned about egg collection, counting, preparation of sex reversal feed, and observing of larval stages. Further, they had a field visit to seabass farm and hatchery, tilapia cage culture, organic shrimp farming practices in Thailand.
