A project supported by the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) of India was initiated from 2019 to 2021 aimed at capacity development programs for the Indian aquaculture administrators from the Fisheries Departments of various provinces (states) and the Federal Ministry of Fisheries, Government of India (GoI). A series of capacity building initiatives, including training programs and exposure visits, were organized in Thailand and Vietnam for the senior management and middle-level technical personnel from India. These included top officials (secretaries) from the GoI Ministry, fisheries directors of various states, senior executives, and technicians from NFDB and the Indian aquaculture industry.
