About AIT Aquaculture

The eleventh International Fisheries Symposium (IFS2023) of the ASEAN-FEN will be hosted by the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, with the theme: Building Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture for Future Generations.

The Asian Institute of Technology (www.ait.ac.th) is a public-funded, international educational Institute promoting technological change and sustainable development in the Asian-Pacific region through higher education, research, and outreach. Established in Bangkok, Thailand, in 1959, AIT has become a leading regional postgraduate institution and is actively working with public and private sector partners throughout the region and with top universities globally. The Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Management (AARM) Academic Program of AIT (www.aitaquaculture.org) has been rated as among the top disciplines in Thailand based on research output and publication records. The AARM’s mission is to develop highly qualified and committed professionals who will lead the sustainable development of aquaculture in the Asian-Pacific region and its integration into the global economy.
